Clear Neutral is committed to supporting the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through our carbon offset initiatives and our work in the lab grown diamond industry. These goals, established in 2015, guide nations towards achieving a better and more sustainable future by 2030.
Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure aims to build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation, and foster innovation. The goal recognises that robust infrastructure, sustainable industrialisation, and technological advancements are essential drivers of economic growth and development.
It focuses on increasing investment in infrastructure, including transportation, energy, water, and information and communication technology (ICT) systems. Goal 9 calls for the promotion of sustainable industrialisation, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and employment opportunities. It emphasises the need to enhance resource efficiency, adopt clean and environmentally friendly technologies, and support research and development activities. The goal also highlights the importance of promoting access to affordable and reliable broadband connectivity, particularly in developing countries.
Additionally, Goal 9 encourages the upgrading of industries to be more sustainable and responsible, fostering innovation and technological advancements. By achieving this goal, societies can create resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrial practices, and harness innovation for sustainable development.
